Friday Mix Down
Hallo friends, keeping the “summer isn’t over” theme on lock I’ve got a new Friday party in a can for your ears. Mixed during rain showers amidst a cold snap that screams fall much more than beach–but I’m carrying the candle for a little while longer. By-and-large this is a little more mellow than the last couple of things I’ve thrown up here but I think it fits the mood well. Have a listen, spread it around and have just the best weekend.

Summer Fun
Dang y’all summer is quickly slipping by; I refuse to believe that it is over, BBQs and camping and other bits of frivolity have to still be around. Case in point, local (aka Chicago) boys Walter Meego have a new album with a new jam (Forever) that has been making mix tape rounds for a little bit but now has a proper release. The video is just a fun little case of summer.
Have a look and mix yourself a cocktail, get ready for the long weekend and generally just have a time of it.

I’m not sure how behind this trend I am, but its just too damn good to not throw my hat into the ring and say WATCH THIS “MOVIE”…what movie is it? why its Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Coming out of the mind of Joss Whedon (you know, the guy behind that show ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’) and starring Neil Patrick Harris PLUS its a dang ol’ musical! Behold:
Its in three acts and was penned during the writers strike last year. Funny, tragic, heart felt and all-in-all just entertaining I recommend checking it. Once again, thats Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. DO IT. Happy Friday.

Step into my ring Bitches…
As I make my debut here on Yfly15, I’d like to thank the homey nate and my negro brother from another mother, the darker, skinnier version of myself, Black Santa, for allowing me to join the posting madness. First off I have something for you that really needs no introduction or explaination…..it’s just awesome.
You will all soon learn that I have a bit of a man crush on Lil Wayne, and I’m always jonesin for new music so I will be posting a lot of new stuff in my posts. My first offering is some brand new fire from Weezy featuring some Mike Tyson off of a Big Mike mixtape (some tags on it but they’re pretty minimal) The American Dream. Next is some hotness from Termanology and Bun B produced by Premier - How we Rock. And finally a little something from the newly formed duo of Wale and Young Chris called Whole Time .
To finish it off, with the wtf? part of the post, a few words from the crazy ass Mr. Gary Busey. There’s a bunch of these little clips on youtube for some phone company or something, but this is my favorite.
