What’s up bitches? My apologies to Nate for not posting in a while, I have no excuse, but I will try make up for it tonight. The RNC ran thru our twin cities a couple weeks ago and brought a lot of shitty people to the area, but also brought a lot of good music in protest. BlackSanta and myself got to see all 4 original members of the Pharcyde, Mos Def and Atmosphere, and 2 days later got to see the concert of my life so far in seeing Rage Against the Machine for the 2nd time. We also had a show in between those 2 where Matisyahu and Dead Prez played, and Rage made and appearance but weren’t allowed to play cuz the police were scared. Someone did give them a magaphone tho and they did a little improv performance…

The copper presence in Minneapolis/St. Paul for the week of the RNC was ridiculous. If you’ve ever played Metal Gear Solid, you will know what this is about -

- it was like this all over both downtown areas….minus the exclamation points. The night of the Rage show it just got worse, riot cops were surrounding the target center getting ready for what turned out the be a peaceful night for the most part. Inside the pit however, it was not so peaceful. I was about 30 ft from the stage for the entire show and I paid for it, I still have bruises and was sore for about a week afterward but it was well worth it. This video shows the majority of the show with a minute or so of each song…

For my Wayne track of the moment, I’m gonna have to go with the Cookin Soul remix of A Mille. Nextly, a couple tracks from the d-block boys Jada and Styles P….D-Block and the Lox crew are back, they’ve been puttin out a lot of good shit lately….my 2 favs recenty have been Jada and Hova - Who Run This? and some hotness from Styles P - The Gunman.

So the Black Keys albums is pretty jamming. It’s been in rotation since it dropped, here’s one of my jams of it psychotic girl.

Moving right along….. The Carter III has dropped. And it’s the first Weezy F. Baby album, i actually like front to back. Notice, i said like, not LOVE. It’s good, just not great. But in mainstream hip hop, what is actually great anymore. But that’s a whole nother topic. Here’s my sleeper jams from the Carter III. The first one is with my man Robin Thicke called tie my hands. When wayne comes in on that track it’s game over after the first like 4 lines. And up next is my favorite from C3. It’s produced by Chi-Town favorite Mr. West, let the beat build.

I have a thing for driving around and spazzing out in my car to bmore tracks. Ask about me….. This is one of those said tracks by The Godfather of Bmore Scotty B. He did a proper remix of the Gorilla Zoe banger Hood Figga.

N.E.R.D has a new album out. And i actually like what i’ve listened to. That being said, I haven’t listened to the whole thing. But that’s not really the point. Up first is the track,SPAZZ. Which is a commercial for some music player or something. But what i’m feeling most about the track is the fact is the drum n’ bass feel. Next is a remix, not on the album.Everbody Nose Remix. This banger has Kanye, Lupe, and my dude Pusha T. Pusha kills it with the double time raps.

GirlTalk also just dropped a new album. It’s called “FEED THE ANIMALS”. I respect dudes grind and programming skills for sure, just kind of hit or miss sometimes. But since he can’t really release a album with proper sample clearance, he did this Feed The Animals link. Which is pretty damn smart, if you ask me. which you didn’t.

Black Santa was in the house for this blessed event. Except, I was posted up next to the bar with the usual cohorts.
